Natalie Carrière

Introduction

Suffering from depression, anxiety, grief or troubled relationships? Maybe you are experiencing a difficult life transition such as employment change or loss, divorce, parenthood, retirement, or the loss of a loved one? I can help. I offer support, kindness and empathy to help you see more clearly in the difficult times you may be experiencing. I favour a holistic, integrative approach, which I tailor to your individual needs. Building on your strengths rather than focusing on pathology or diagnoses, we work together to identify behaviour patterns and thought processes which no longer serve you, in order to help you change and heal.
I am sensitive to the fact that the problems clients bring might have a spiritual dimension and I remain open to working with your personal meanings. I enjoy working with clients, and consider it a privilege to be able to accompany them on their journeys of self-discovery and healing.
In addition to a master's degree in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University, I have a master's degree in Medical Anthropology from the University of Ottawa. I also hold a Certificate in Applied Mindfulness from the University of Toronto and am a trained facilitator of the Mindfulness-Based Chronic Pain Management (MBCPM™) course. My practice is trauma-informed, and HAES-informed.
I offer both virtual and in-person therapy.
