Introduction
Pat is a seasoned psychotherapist based in Toronto. She has had a private practice for over 25 years providing counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families. She treats adults, and adolescents and has extenive experience leading Personal Growth Groups and Workshops. In addition, she provides training and clinical supervision for social workers, psychotherapists, counsellors and front-line workers. She has worked in numerous settings including guidance education, hospital and community-based settings as well as her ongoing private practice. She has had in-depth training in a range of psychotherapeutic theories and practices. These include Psychodynamic Therapy, Relational and Self Psychology, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Trauma Treatment, Psychodrama, Family Therapy, Conflict Reolution, and Narrative, Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She specializes in the following areas: anxiety, depression, trauma and couples therapy. Pat has acted as the Coordinator of a downtown alternative Toronto Highschool and President of the Board of Directors at West End Parents' Daycare. She has been a Clinical Member of The Ontario Society of Psychotherapists since 1994 and has served as Chair of Nomination, Vice President, President, and Past President. Currently she is an elected member of The Council of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and serves as Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee. Pat maintains a membership in the Ontario College of Teachers and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Self Psychology, a member of The International Association of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and a Guest Member of the Toronto Society for Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
